Problem Note 42390: Incorrect results generated for heterogeneous SQL JOIN in SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server®

Incorrect results are generated for a heterogeneous SQL JOIN when the following situation occurs:
- A heterogeneous JOIN between a table that resides on a big-endian server (for example, AIX) and a table that resides on a little-endian server (for example, Linux for x64), and
- The SQL JOIN is controlled by the big-endian server.
To circumvent, specify the SQL option NOKEEP in the spdsserv.parm file:
SQLOPTS= "RESET NOKEEP";Setting this option guarantees that the rows sent from one server to the other are full rows instead of only the requested columns.
