On the Markdown Approvals window of SAS® High Performance Markdown Optimization you might see the following message in the Inventory Delay Cost and Inventory Delay Cost / Spend columns for certain products:
This message might be generated in the wrong circumstances. It should only be generated when all members within a uniform pricing group have a low baseline demand. Currently the message is generated for the entire group when one member withn a uniform pricing level has low baseline demand and there is a low baseline demand minimum discount defined.
The work-around for this issue is to turn off the low baseline demand warning through the global setting MIN_BASELINE_DEMAND. The global setting MIN_BASELINE_DEMAND should be set to -1. The configuration workbench will not allow a negative value, so you will need to edit the GLOBAL_SETTINGS table manually. After updating GLOBAL_SETTINGS, you will need to run the weekly batch process in order to see change.
