Line legend options might apply to the bar legend instead of to the line legend when using the Bar-Line Chart task in SAS Enterprise Guide. This will only occur when there is no Stack column assigned.

To circumvent the problem, from the Bar-Line Chart task, edit the task code by using Preview Code ► Insert Code, then insert a LEGEND2 statement similar to the one shown below. You also can add more LEGEND statement options, and then add the LEGEND=LEGEND2 option on the BAR statement as shown below.
