Problem Note 42242: Invalid option name READONLY error occurs when using a SAS® Scalable Performance Data Engine library that was defined in the SAS® Metadata Server

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If you create a library using the SAS Scalable Performance Data Engine (SPDE) library template in SAS® Management Console and set the "Read Only" option to "Yes" in the "Options for any host" tab of the Advanced Options properties, the LIBNAME is generated as:

LIBNAME spdelib SPDE "C:\data\tables" READONLY=YES ;

Which is syntactically incorrect. As a result, the following errors occur when you try to use this library in SAS® Business Intelligence client applications:

LIBNAME spdelib SPDE "C:\data\tables" READONLY=YES ; -------- 22 ERROR: Libname SPDELIB is not assigned. ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement. ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name READONLY.

The option should be generated as ACCESS=READONLY instead of READONLY=YES.
