After installing the SAS/IntrNet CGI Tools for SAS 9.3 from support.sas.com, you might receive the following error when creating a SAS/IntrNet Application Server during step one of the configuration:

"Configuration Failure"

This problem can also occur if you install products from a depot subset and then try to run the SAS Deployment Manager to perform tasks on an existing configuration directory. To correct this problem, modify the registry.xml file that is located in SASHOME/deplpymntreg. Be sure to make a back-up copy of this file before editing it. Do not save the copy of this file with an extension of .xml, or the old values will be used.

Find the line in this file that looks similar to this:

   Value data="123456" name="last_order"

The data value will likely contain the name of the order that is used from the depot subset. Change that value to the order number that corresponds to the last order that was used prior to installing the software with the depot subset.

To determine the previously used order number, look at the date and time stamps for SASHOME/SASDeploymentManager/9.2/order_data.

The name of the directory with the most recent date and time should correspond to the last order that was used prior to the depot subset order.
