Problem Note 42030: Oracle PREPARE error issued when SAS table is empty and no keys are in the WHERE clause

The following error message is issued due to a regressions after applying HOT FIX E9BD33 in SAS 9.1.3.

ERROR: ORACLE prepare error: ORA-00936: missing expression. SQL statement: SELECT  "ID", "NOM", "APEL" FROM ASD  WHERE  ( ).
ERROR: PROC SQL runtime error for operation=sqxsrc.
ERROR: An error has occurred.

The problem occurs when the SAS table is empty, and there are no keys to add in the WHERE clause.

To circumvent this issue, remove MULTI_DATASRC_OPT= from the LIBNAME statement, which can cause performance problems. Instead, use the DBKEY= option, and make sure that the SAS table contains data or upgrade to SAS 9.2.
