Problem Note 42987: SAS® Clinical Data Integration version 2.3 - The name of a controlled terminology cannot exceed 20 characters
All of the SAS® Clinical Standards Toolkit tables that deal with standards, like controlled terminology, store the name of the standard in a column named STANDARD which is 20 characters long. The SAS® Clinical Data Integration (CDI) user interface allows you to enter up to 60 characters. However, when a standard with a name longer than 20 characters is used, the following message is encountered:
WARNING: Character expression will be truncated when assigned to character column standard.
The current workaround is to limit the controlled terminology name to 20 characters or less.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The name of a controlled terminology is limited to 20 characters, even though the SAS Clinica Data Integration (CDI) interface allows a longer name to be entered.
