Problem Note 42686: Interactive Grouping node gives "ERROR 160-185: No matching IF-THEN clause"
In SAS® Enterprise Miner, if you set the frozen groupings property to Yes in the Interactive Grouping node, then you might get the following error when running the node:
ERROR 160-185: No matching IF-THEN clause.
The error occurs when all input variables have either interval or ordinal measurement levels. (If no nominal input variables exist, then this problem will occur.
There are two workarounds:
- Ensure that at least one input variable in the frozen-groupings definition has a
"nominal" measurement level.
- Instead of using Frozen Groupings, set the Frozen Groupings property to
No, and set the Create Export Group property to Yes. When you run
the node, these settings will create a SAS data set that can be used as the
Imported Grouping data set when subsequently running the Interactive
Grouping node.
