Problem Note 42563: An error might occur if you run a job in SAS® IT Resource Management 3.2 to process IBM Resource Measurement Facility (RMF) SMF records
When you run a job in SAS IT Resource Management 3.2 to process IBM Resource Measurement Facility (RMF) SMF records, the following error might occur:
ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set WORK.RMFINTRV
By default, SAS IT Resource Management 3.2 creates additional columns to enhance the reporting of resource utilization for various categories of SMF activity. Adding these columns can affect the sort sequence of the WORK.RMFINTRV table.
To circumvent this problem, process the Resource Measurement Facility (RMF) SMF records individually for each machine.
