Problem Note 42351: Using Teradata Parallel Transport(TPT) with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata causes a debug error
The Teradata Parallel Transporter(TPT) API libraries provided by Teradata in Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 13.10 are built with the Visual Studio V8.0 compiler. The modules which we use for W32 are built with the Visual Studio V7.1 compiler. Due to the mismatch, when using the TPT feature in SAS on a PC with TTU 13.10, you get a Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library error. Teradata provides a version of their libraries built with the Visual Studio V7.1 compiler. The workaround is to add the location of the libraries built with this compiler to the PATH environment variable.
The Visual Studio V7.1 compiler is in "C:\Program Files\Teradata\Client\13.10\Teradata Parallel Transporter\bin\vc7"
