Problem Note 42320: The Export wizard deletes files when prompting
When using the Export wizard to export to an existing Excel file, a window displays indicating that the file exists and asks to replace, append, or cancel. If you click Replace, the file is deleted immediately. This occurs even if you cancel the operation later in the import process.
To resolve the problem click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue if you are using the third maintenance release for SAS® 9.2 (TS2M3). Applying this hot fix changes the behavior of the wizard to delete the file only when you click Finish at the end of the import process.
If you click Cancel during the process, the file is not deleted if you've applied this hot fix.
