Problem Note 41918: SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office appears to stop responding when opening a Microsoft Excel file that contains data to be refreshed on open

When using the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office to open SAS tables, Microsoft Excel might appear to stop responding. This problem can occur when the Refresh on file open execution property is set for the SAS tables. You also might see an error similar to the following.
To circumvent the problem, deselect the Refresh on file open option on the Execution tab in the properties window of the SAS table.
