Usage Note 41809: Using user defined functions in the DATA Step created with PROC FCMP

User defined functions created using PROC FCMP can be called in the DATA Step beginning in SAS 9.2. Prior to SAS 9.2 if you call a function in the DATA Step created by PROC FCMP, you will receive the following ERROR:

   ERROR 68-185: The function xxxxx is unknown, or cannot be accessed.

xxxxx is the name of the function you are trying to call in the DATA step.
