Problem Note 41630: Defined length for a computed column might be removed in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
In the SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2 Query Builder, you can specify a length for a computed column. If you subsequently save, close, and then reopen the project, the length property will be blank for the computed column.
As a workaround, you can specify a format for the computed column, such as $CHAR4., instead of entering a value for the Length property.
