If you are using a dual-monitor desktop configuration and you stretch your FSVIEW window across both monitors, then your SAS session might become unresponsive.

Once you encounter this problem, your SASUSER.PROFILE catalog might become corrupt, and you might not be able to successfully open FSVIEW again. In order to correct this issue so you can once again use FSVIEW within a single monitor pane, you will need to take one of the following steps:

• Specify a new location for your SASUSER library.
• Delete or rename the SASUSER.PROFILE catalog within your current SASUSER library.

Either of these steps will cause a new PROFILE catalog to be created in the SASUSER library the next time that you invoke SAS, allowing you to open FSVIEW again on a single monitor.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue. After you apply the hot fix, you can stretch the FSVIEW window across multiple monitors.
