Memory issues might occur when there are more than 19 DEFINE statements that contain style options in PROC REPORT.

The memory issues might appear either as a long processing time or as an "out of memory" error.

To circumvent the problem, try one of the following:

  1. Increase the value of the MEMSIZE system option.

  2. Reduce the total number of DEFINE statements that contain style options to less than 20.
