Problem Note 41395: Some data subsets cannot be re-created using the Disk Usage tool

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

With SAS® Warranty Analysis 4.2, you can delete a data subset, and under certain circumstances, it is possible to re-create the data subset using the Disk Usage tool. However, the data set cannot be re-created if you completely refresh the data mart. A complete refresh produces a data mart with the same processed_dttm value for all records, and, therefore, the old data is essentially no longer available. When you re-create filtered data that was previously deleted in this manner, you cannot accurately reflect the old data that was deleted.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

This hot fix adds a new Boolean configuration option, allowFilterSubsetDeleteFromUI, to the middle tier. When this option is set to true, the system behaves as it previously did with the 4.2 release with respect to deleting filter subsets from the user interface. When this option is set to false, you are unable to delete filter subsets from the user interface. Specifically, the Delete Data Set... action is not available in the menu and the Delete Data Set, Cancel, and Help buttons are replaced by a single Close button on the Disk Usage Details dialog screen.
