Problem Note 41388: Exception "Unexpected exception returned from mid-tier. Message was: No value set for required parameter 'min_num_of_cluster'" might be thrown
SAS® Size Profiling should respect the "Store Grouping" parameter changes requested by users. However, SAS Size Profiling does not honor the requests in the following scenario:
- Create a project, Preprocess and approve size sets for the project.
- Select a size set and generate profiles for the size set using max # store groups = 10.
- After profiles are generated for the size set, open a plan from the corresponding profile project.
- Copy any profiles in that plan to a new profile.
- From the profile seasrch view, delete the newly copied profile.
- Open the source project's detail view.
- Select the same size set and generate profiles for the size set.
- UI displays 10 as the maximum number of store groups. Set maximum number of store groups to 2 and expect that only 2 store groups will be generated.
- ERROR messages are thrown, it appears profile generation is running, however, you still see 10 store groups generated for the sizeset.
Error message similar to the following might be found in the client log:
ERROR main com.sas.solutions.di.studio.prf.dataprojects.detail.model.StoreGroupConfigModel - Unexpected exception returned from mid-tier. Message was: No value set for required parameter 'num_of_clusters'
java.lang.IllegalStateException: No value set for required parameter 'num_of_clusters'
