Usage Note 41332: Create a web archive file (.MHT file) with Microsoft Internet Explorer

Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser gives you the ability to create a web archive file. This is a file with an extension of .MHT and is also known as mime HTML file. The advantage of a web archive file is that it allows you to save multiple images and linked files in a single .MHT file. This is advantageous when you need to e-mail multi-file HTML reports to other users.
To create a .MHT file, start by using the ODS HTML statement in your SAS® code to write all of your HTML and graph output to disk. Then, display the HTML output either in the Results viewer window in SAS or in Internet Explorer outside of SAS.
From the pulldown options menu, select File ► Save as... In the Save as type: field, select Web Archive, single file (*.mht). Click Save to save the newly created .MHT file to disk.
Note that there is currently no way to create a .MHT file directly with SAS.
