Problem Note 41015: An error occurs with a SAS® Warranty Analysis forecasting analysis when input data contains multiple failures

A forecasting analysis in SAS Warranty Analysis uses the RELIABILITY procedure to create the model that is used to perform a forecast. The data that is used by PROC RELIABILITY as part of this forecasting might contain multiple failures. Because multiple failures are not valid for a reliability analysis, running a forecasting analysis might result in the following error:

ERROR: The number of units available to fail is less than 
the total number of events for readout data.
