Problem Note 41453: You cannot generate the data and control files for bulk loading to Oracle without automatically executing the SQL*Loader utility
You cannot generate the data and control files that are required for bulk loading to Oracle without automatically executing the SQL*Loader utility. The bulk-loading facility in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Oracle automatically generates these files and then uses them to execute the SQL*Loader utility.
You might need to modify the generated files prior to loading them into Oracle. For example, consider the issue of not having the ability to remove trailing blanks easily from variable-length variables when you bulk load data to Oracle. (See SAS Note 41451: "Trailing blanks appear at the end of a variable when you bulk load data to Oracle.")
