Problem Note 41408: A null-pointer exception is generated when you change the status of an alert in an Enterprise Analytic process
When you view an alert in the Emerging Issues workspace for an Enterprise Analytic process, a menu is available that enables you change the alert status. However, after you make a change and click the mouse anywhere in the user interface, an exception similar to the following is generated:

As a workaround, do one of the following:
- Use the arrow keys to navigate through the menu and use the ENTER key to select the new value.
- Use the Change Status dialog box to change the value.
