Problem Note 41313: The Adapter Setup wizard fails with the error “RSHHostCommand must not be null” when you create jobs for the SNMP adapter
The Adapter Setup wizard fails to create jobs for the SNMP adapter if you select the Deploy jobs automatically option, but fail to specify the RSHHhostCommand field in the Staging Parameters window. In this situation, the Adpater Setup wizard aborts and the following error appears:
RSHHostCommand must not be null
RSHHostCommand is an optional field and has a null value. If the field is not specified in the Staging Parameters window, the error will occur. The SNMP staging transformation attempts to load and set RSHHostCommand during automatic deployment of the staging job through the Adapter Setup wizard.
To circumvent this problem, do not select the Deploy jobs automatically option for the SNMP adapter in the Adpater Setup wizard. After you create the jobs successfully, you can deploy jobs that are created manually.
