Problem Note 41237: SAS® Marketing Automation reply definitions are visible in business contexts to which they have not been assigned
After you cut and paste a SAS Marketing Automation reply definition in the SAS® Management Console Folders tab, the pasted reply definition is available for selection in all business contexts. However, the reply definition should be available only in the business contexts to which the original reply definition was allocated.
In order to remove business contexts from a reply definition, follow these steps:
- Find your reply definition in SAS Management Console by clicking on the SAS Folders tab and then going to System►Applications►SAS Customer Intelligence►Customer Intelligence 5.3►Configuration►Reply Definitions.
- Open the reply definition properties.
- In the Contact History tab, note the "Information map / Subject" setting.
- In the Details tab, select Select Business Context.
- In the Select Business Contexts dialog box, click on Deselect All.
- Click OK.
- Business context might still be displayed in the business contexts field. If so, then repeat the steps above until there are none left in this field.
- Once no business contexts are listed in the "Business Contexts" section, select Business Context.
- Select the business context that should use this reply definition. Check that the business context uses the same information map as your reply definition. Select OK.
- Select the Contact History tab. Reselect your information map and subject.
- Save the definition.
- Your reply definition is no longer listed in the "Available" section of
all business contexts. Your reply definition is listed only for the business contexts that you select.
