If you determine the mmx.log is not being created in the \config directory. Check to make sure you have the log4j.properties file in the plan_61\config folder, as you may only have the sample file called log4j.properties.all. If you do not have the log4j.properties file, make a copy of the log4j.properties.all file, rename it to log4j.properties. Then restart the Weblogic or Websphere server, and you will see the mmx.log.
