Problem Note 40970: Incorrect 'duplicate entry' error message when loading driver rates that reference missing or invalid dimension members

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When loading driver rates to SAS® Financial Management release 5.1, if the <dds misc_rate> table includes a key value for a dimension member that is either not valid or that is not included in the cycle, then no records are loaded. However, the SASFinancialManagement5.1 log file will incorrectly show errors that indicate a duplicate entry was found, such as

com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.MySQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException:
Duplicate entry

The SAS Financial Management client log will correctly display errors similar to the following:

[ERRORLoadDriverRatesWizard] -
com.sas.solutions.finance.models.FinanceClientException:
java.rmi.RemoteException: javax.ejb.EJBException; nested exception is:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

For information on the default location for SAS Financial Management log files, please refer to SAS Note 20058.
