Usage Note 40942: The SAS® SYSMSG message is not returned when you run SAS® BI Web Services for Java

When you run SAS BI Web Services from a Java client, the SAS SYSMSG message might not be returned. The SAS® 9.2 BI Web Services Developer's Guide states that this message should be returned to the client.
This omission occurs only for Java clients. The full SYSMSG text is returned correctly by .Net clients.
