Problem Note 40886: Records are not inserted properly when you use the DBMSTEMP= LIBNAME option in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Netezza
The DBMSTEMP= LIBNAME option specifies whether the SAS® System creates temporary or permanent tables. By default, the value for this option is NO, meaning that SAS creates permanent tables.
However, when you use DBMSTEMP=YES and you specify either CONNECTION=GLOBAL or CONNECTION=SHARED, records that are inserted using explicit pass-through processing are not committed (saved) correctly. These records are rolled back (that is, the records revert back to their prior status) during the commit that immediately follows the explicit connection.
As a workaround, use the AUTOCOMMIT=YES LIBNAME option. Using this option commits all updates, deletions, and insertions to a table immediately after they are submitted. In addition, no rollback is possible.
