Usage Note 40782: Gauged Graph display type in SAS® BI Dashboard 4.3 might have varying bar widths
In SAS BI Dashboard 4.3, when using the Gauged Graph display type, the graphs might display with different bar widths when the Columns Group By attribute has been set in the Indicator Properties. The Column Group By attribute displays multiple graphs (one for each unique value of the column specified), with each graph occupying the same amount of space in the indicator. In order to ensure that all graphs occupy the same amount of space, SAS BI Dashboard adjusts the width of the bars in those graphs that do not have as many bars as other graphs.
To have consistent bar widths, change the data model to include observations that represent the 'missing' bars. These observations should have a value of 0 for the bar value. This way, SAS BI Dashboard will reserve space for the bars that do not display and the bar width will be consistent for each graph.
