Problem Note 40647: 'System Error &h8004003(-2147467261) Invalid Pointer' when running the FMHierarchy:ShowMemberSelectionDialog from the API

In SAS Financial Management release 5.1, the Visual Basic for Applications Application Programming Interface (VBA API) FMHierarchy class: ShowMemberSelectionDialog method is not working properly.
If you execute this API code, you might encounter an error similar to:
System Error &h8004003(-2147467261) Invalid Pointerin your AMO log.
