In SAS Data Integration Studio 4.2, a migrated job might behave differently than it does in SAS Data Integration Studio 3.4.
A new option, called Set unmapped columns to missing that is on the Load Technique tab of the Table Loader transformation, is set to No by default. This option determines whether unmapped columns might be updated with null values on rows that match when you are updating with one of the MODIFY statement load techniques. The _LOADTM column is typically not mapped from a source column. As a result, the matching rows do not have an updated timestamp in version 4.21 of the software. Setting this option to Yes effectively allows the _LOADTM column to be updated as it is in SAS Data Integration Studio 3.4. This might also result in other unmapped target columns being updated with null values.
