Installation Note 40596: SAS® 9.3 BI Clients and SAS® Business Solutions cannot log on to SAS® 9.2 servers

The following error might occur when you attempt to connect to a SAS 9.2 server from a 9.3 (or later) release of SAS BI Clients or SAS Business Solutions:
Unable to parse the name value "APPLICATIONNAME=XXXXXX".
The name is not recognized as an option.
