When getting values for some prompts in SAS Enterprise Guide, users might encounter the following error:
There was an error when retrieving results and it is likely that the list is incomplete.
This error can occur when the prompt is defined as User selects values from a Static List and Multiple Values is chosen for the Number of values. For such a prompt, when a user clicks on Get Values, browses for the data set to use, and selects a variable with an invalid character in the name (such as /), the error occurs.
The only workaround is to change the variable name and remove the invalid character before using it in the prompt.
