Problem Note 40559: VVALUE function causes segmentation violation in some cases in SAS® 9.1.3
The VVALUE function causes segmentation violations in some cases in SAS 9.1.3. This has been fixed in 9.2.
The current workaround is to declare a length that is long enough to hold the result from the function.
