Usage Note 40421: Aggregation type used for a calculated measure does not control whether SAS® Web Report Studio generates a total
In SAS® Information Map Studio, calculated measures use one of the following aggregation types:
- Defined in expression (non-additive)
- Defined in expression (additive)
These aggregation types do not control whether SAS Web Report Studio generates a total for the measure. For example, if you create a calculated measure that contains percentage values, you cannot prevent a total from being generated by changing the aggregation type to Defined in expression (non-additive).
To prevent SAS Web Report Studio from generating a total for a calculated measure, change the data item to a category instead of a measure. If you need the data item to be a measure for presentation in a graph, then also include a copy of the data item as a measure in the information map.
