DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If you try to insert DBCS characters into a SAS character variable using the SAS ODBC Driver from Microsoft Access 2007, you will get an error, including an error message in your SAS/SHARE® server log, that looks similar to the following (this example is from a session that was encoded in Japanese):

23APR2010:15:09:59.880 When xxxxxx(2) in "ODBCAPPL"(0) tried to EXECUTE INSERT INTO TEMP.SAMPLE (x) VALUES ('D BY SQLVIEW:
ERROR: SQL パススルー式エラー : ERROR 79-322: ) を指定してください

The English translation of the last part of the message is "ERROR: SQL Pass-Through error : ERROR 79-322: specify ....".
