Problem Note 40041: SAS® Enterprise Guide® and the SAS® Add-in for Microsoft Office might stop responding when refreshing a stored process with cascading prompts

The SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office and SAS Enterprise Guide might stop responding when you refresh or modify a stored process with cascading prompts that contain previously selected values. This problem is most likely to happen for datetime prompt types.
The first time you run the stored process, it will run properly, displaying a list of values for each prompt according to the dependency rules. When you refresh or modify the stored process, all the prompts in the cascade will contain any previously selected values (which is the expected behavior). If the you select a different value for one or more of the prompts, the client application might enter into an infinite loop and stop responding.
