Installation Note 40997: Errors running some SAS® procedures on Solaris 9
When running some SAS® procedures on Solaris 9, you might receive errors similar to the following, referring to the shared object
libmtsk.so.1:
ERROR: Could not load /usr/local/sas/sas92/SASFoundation/9.2/sasexe/sascmpa (65 images loaded)
ERROR: ld.so.1: sas: fatal: libmtsk.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
ERROR: BRIDGE FAILURE CALLING UNKNOWN.
ERROR: UNABLE TO LOAD sascmpa FOR SUBSYSTEM 139.
These errors may occur if the required Solaris patch 117560-03 or higher is not installed. To determine if the patch is installed, issue the command:
/usr/bin/showrev -p | grep 117560
The only workaround is to install the Solaris patch.
If the Solaris patch has already been installed, please see
SAS Note 34579 for another possible cause.
