Usage Note 40547: "Unrecognized database format" error when trying to import Microsft Access 2007 .ACCDB file
Using either PROC IMPORT code or the Import Wizard to read Microsoft Access 2007 .ACCDB data into SAS 9.2 TS1M0 might return the following error:
ERROR: Connect: Unrecognized database format 'c:\my documents\mydatabase.accdb'.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
ERROR: Connect: Cannot start your application. The workgroup information
file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
ERROR: Connect: Unrecognized database format 'c:\my documents\mydatabase.accdb'.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
NOTE: Attachments for -3 reestablished for new parent.
NOTE: Import Cancelled.
In order to access Microsoft Excel 2007 and Microsoft Access 2007 data, customers must use at least the second maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M2).
