Problem Note 40394: An HTTP 500 error appears in place of existing SAS® BI Dashboard portlets when you apply a maintenance upgrade
After you apply a maintenance upgrade, you might receive an HTTP 500 error in place of a previously working SAS® BI Dashboard portlet. In addition, the log for the JBoss Web application server contains the following error message:
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: javax.servlet.ServletException:
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Error - Tag Insert : At least one of the
following attribute must be defined :
template|page|attribute|definition|name|beanName. Check tag syntax
To resolve this issue:
- Stop JBoss.
- Delete all of the files and folders in the JBOSS_installation_diretory\server\SASServer1\work.
- Start JBoss.
