Usage Note 40349: An error might occur when you use the Teradata MultiLoad utility

The following error might appear in the MultiLoad log when you use the Teradata MultiLoad utility:
UTY0832 This MultiLoad import task cannot proceed: an unexpected MultiLoad phase, data acquisition, was reported by the RDBMS.
The error message implies that the MultiLoad job is out of phase because a new job is trying to run after a previous MultiLoad job did not complete, thereby leaving a lock on an involved table.
To release the lock on this target table, use an SQL statement similar to the following:
release mload "database-name"."table-name;";
