Installation Note 40272: You might not receive the option to enable Microsoft Outlook when you upgrade to the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.3
The SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.3 offers Outlook integration.
However, if the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.2 is already installed on your computer, then during installation of the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.3, you are not prompted to select the Microsoft Office programs that you want to enable. Therefore, by default, the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.3 installation integrates with all Microsoft Office programs except for Outlook.
To work around this issue, you can use the switcher utility after installation to integrate the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.3 with Outlook:
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\SAS\Add-InForMicrosoftOffice\4.3.
- In the 4.3 folder, run SwitcherUtility.exe.
- When the utility opens, under Enable SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office in, select Outlook.
- Click OK.
