SAS^® Management Console enables you to register the same table more than once in the same library if the table definitions are saved to different SAS Folders. However, information maps require that each table name is unique in a library, regardless of folder location. For example, if your library is MYLIB, you can have only one copy of MYTABLE in that library, even if you register MYTABLE to different SAS Folders.

If there are duplicate table names in a single library, you see the following behavior in the BI client applications.

• SAS^® Enterprise Guide^® and SAS^® Web Report Studio do not display any data items when the information map is selected.
• SAS^® Information Map Studio enables you to create the information map; however, when you reopen the information map, you see the following message:

At least one data source refers to a resource that is  not uniquely named.

Cubes must also be uniquely named in a single OLAP schema.
