Problem Note 39833: The SAS® Metadata Server might terminate abnormally

When a value that is used by the SAS Metadata Server is not initialized properly, the server might terminate abnormally. The issues associated with this abnormal termination vary based on the operating system of the server. However, a traceback appears in the SAS Metadata Server log.

In order to avoid unplanned outages of the SAS Metadata Server, you should install this hot fix as soon as possible.
