Problem Note 39824: Computed Columns might appear in the list of Group By columns in the Query Builder of SAS® Enterprise Guide®

In SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2, when using the Automatically select groups option in the Query Builder, the following two problems can occur. These issues did not occur in version 4.1.
- Columns selected under the Summary tab might appear in the list of Summary groups, which will result in the column or columns being added to the Group By statement in the generated PROC SQL.
- Other Computed Columns will be added to the list of Summary groups.
To address the problem with Summary columns, select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
To address both problems, deselect the option Automatically select groups, and, instead, select Edit Groups to manually assign group columns.
