Usage Note 39693: A login prompt might appear when you execute a stored process in SAS® Enterprise Guide® or the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office
A login prompt might appear when you execute a stored process in SAS Enterprise Guide or the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office. The login prompt appears when the authentication mode for the workspace server is set to User/Password and the SAS® client is configured to connect to the SAS® Metadata Server using Integrated Windows authentication (IWA).
To prevent the login prompt, configure the workspace server to use IWA, or do not use IWA for the client to connect to the metadata server. For more information about authentication, see the SAS® 9.2 Intelligence Platform: Security Administration Guide.
