Problem Note 39548: Unable to open reports on UNIX: “Physical file does not exist”
In a multi-tier environment with a UNIX server tier and a Windows middle tier, an error occurs when attempting to access the analysis reports from the graphical user interface:
Message: com.sas.iom.SASIOMDefs.GenericError:
Physical file does not exist,
<SAS_Config>/SASRiskManagementForInsurance/1.2/data/entities
/main/master/reports\<report name>
The error occurs because the back slash in the file path is unrecognized by UNIX.
Although they are not accessible through the graphical user interface, the reports do exist on the UNIX server, and they are assigned read permissions for all users. To access the reports, navigate to the path mentioned in the error message with the back slash replaced by a forward slash.
