Problem Note 39542: Deleting a data selection that has many analyses takes a long time

Deleting a data selection that contains many analyses can take a long time. For example, deleting a data selection with 26 analyses took 15 minutes in a test environment. The UI is unavilable while the delete opeation is in progress. The problem occurs because the associated files are being processed one at a time.
To work around this problem, plan to delete data slections that have many analyses when the UI will not be needed for 10-20 minutes.

Deleting a data selection that contains a large number of analyses (20 or greater) can take several minutes to complete. While the files are being deleted, the UI cannot be used until the delete action has completed.
