The SAS Universal Viewer might report an incorrect number of observations for a transport file.
By comparison, if you open a SAS V5 Transport file in the SAS System Viewer or in the SAS ViewTable, the number of observations are correct whether you view the file in a SAS V5 Transport file or in a SAS data set.
