Usage Note 39440: How to dump the content of the DAV server or SASĀ® Content Server for SAS Financial Management reports and forms
If asked by SAS Technical Support to provide the content of the DAV Server or the SAS Content Server, please do the following:
- Use an Internet browser to access the DAV Server or SAS Content Server repository via:
- For SAS Content Server (SAS Financial Management release 5.1 and later):
http://servername:7001/SASContentServer/repository/default/sasdav/Solutions/Finance/
- For Xythos (SAS Financial Management release 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4):
http://servername:8300/sasdav/Solutions/Finance
Hint: To open in an interface similar to Windows Explorer, select
File > Open > 'Open as Web folder'
in your Web browser.
The default log on information is
user ID: SASWBADM
PW: AdminAdmin1
but this might be different at your site.
Please note that Internet Explorer no longer supports 'open as Web folder' as of version 8. To workaround this, you need to either add this as a network location in the operating system's "map network drive" functionality OR enable Web folders on your system.
If you are unable to open the sasdav/Solutions/Finance folder as a Web folder
using Internet Explorer, you can use a WebDAV FTP client such as AnyClient
(available at
http://download.cnet.com/AnyClient/3000-2160_4-10854857.html ) to connect to
the SAS Content Server, and navigate to the /sasdav/Solutions/Finance folder.
Note: if the DAV Server is Apache (typically SAS Financial Management release 4.0 and 4.1), simply use Windows Explorer to navigate to:
<drive>\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\sasdav\Finance
- If the DAV content for forms/form sets is requested, please send the entire content of the PlanningForms folder.
- If the DAV content for reports is requested, please send the entire content of the Reports folder.
